CreaZion Studios brings ‘Crawlers,’ ‘Wicker,’ ‘Look Back’ to PH cinemas

Three wildly different films. Three unforgettable cinematic experiences. One Filipino company bringing them to audiences.

CreaZion Studios, one of the Philippines’ premiere production and distribution companies with an expanding presence in the regional entertainment landscape, brings CRAWLERS, WICKER, and LOOK BACK to Philippine cinemas this October and November.

From a deadly spider infestation to a bizarre love story involving a husband made of wicker, and finally to a deeply moving tale of friendship and artistic ambition, the three films showcase CreaZion Studios’ commitment to bringing distinctive, internationally acclaimed, and audience-driven cinema to Filipino moviegoers.

The lineup kicks off with horror, followed by darkly comic fantasy and an emotionally resonant Japanese drama—offering audiences three very different reasons to return to the big screen.

CRAWLERS

October 28 | Exclusively at SM Cinema
SINE SINDAK: The 7th Cycle
Something is crawling. And there’s nowhere to run.

Directed by Ángel Gómez Hernández and starring Matilda Lutz, CRAWLERS turns an ordinary Los Angeles apartment building into a terrifying survival zone when a mysterious outbreak is revealed to be a catastrophic infestation of deadly, venomous spiders.

When authorities impose a quarantine, building manager Serena and the trapped residents must fight their way through a rapidly multiplying army of spiders. Armed with her intimate knowledge of the building, Serena may be their only chance of survival.

From the producers behind John Wick, The Pope’s Exorcist, and Tarot, CRAWLERS combines creature-feature horror, claustrophobic thrills, scares, and darkly playful moments into what promises to be a wild big-screen ride.

CRAWLERS opens October 28, exclusively at SM Cinema, as part of SINE SINDAK: The 7th Cycle.

WICKER

November 4 | Exclusively at SM Cinema
What if the perfect husband could be made to order?

Academy Award® winner Olivia Colman stars alongside Alexander Skarsgård, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki in WICKER, a wickedly funny and wonderfully bizarre romantic fable about love, marriage, desire, and society’s expectations.

The film follows an ostracized Fisherwoman who commissions the village Basketmaker to create her a husband. But when her extraordinary Wicker Husband turns out to be kind, soulful, and far more spectacular than she imagined, her newfound happiness triggers jealousy, fascination, and chaos throughout the village.

Written and directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, WICKER walks a deliciously strange line between comedy, romance, fantasy, and social satire.

Adding to its visual magic is the work of Wētā Workshop, whose team helped physically create the Wicker Husband rather than relying on a computer-generated character.

WICKER opens November 4, exclusively at SM Cinema.

LOOK BACK

November 25 | Exclusively at SM Cinema
Some friendships change the way we see the world.

Some friendships change the way we see the world.

From acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Kore-eda Hirokazu comes LOOK BACK, a moving story about friendship, creativity, ambition, and the transformative power of making art together.

Based on the acclaimed manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, creator of Chainsaw Man, the film follows two young girls from a small town: talented and confident manga artist Fujino, and reclusive drawing prodigy Kyomoto. Brought together by their shared passion, the two pursue their dream of becoming manga artists over thirteen years.

For Kore-eda, the live-action adaptation became an opportunity to explore the girls’ relationship and creative journey across the changing seasons, with the very sounds of drawing manga becoming an important part of the film’s emotional storytelling.

The film is also part of a remarkable global legacy. Fujimoto’s original manga has been published in 37 countries and territories, while the 2024 animated adaptation became a major box-office success.

LOOK BACK opens November 25, exclusively at SM Cinema.
