Sunshine Garcia praises Beautéderm CEO Rhea Tan’s genuine care for her ambassadors

Sexbomb member and actress Sunshine Garcia shared why she and her husband, Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro, have remained loyal ambassadors of Beautéderm through the years, citing the genuine care and family-like relationship they have built with Beautéderm President and CEO Rhea Tan.

Having been part of the Beautéderm family for years, Sunshine said her experience with the brand has been vastly different from what she has encountered elsewhere in the industry.

According to Sunshine, many artists are often treated as mere endorsers or business partners, with some even experiencing situations where they are simply viewed as talents rather than valued individuals.

“Totoo naman po ‘yun kasi parang katulad ko, marami po akong kilalang kliyente. Marami pong business owner na kakilala na may iba diyan na ite-treat ka lang nila na as ‘artist ka lang namin,’ minsan iba pa, mas worse pa — yung may utusan na moment. Basta iba,” she shared during a press conference on June 25 Angeles City, Pampanga.

She emphasized that Rhea Tan has always gone beyond the usual professional relationship, making every ambassador feel genuinely cared for.

“Pero sa kanya kasi pag naging ambassador ka niya or pumasok ka sa Beautéderm, iba yung treatment niya, iba yung pag-aalaga niya. Doon ko kasi nakita yung difference niya sa iba, kung paano siya, paano niya alagaan, paano niya mahalin yung mga ambassador niya.”

Because of that sincerity, Sunshine said it naturally inspires loyalty and respect from the people who represent the brand.

“So parang ikaw mamahalin mo talaga siya. Alam mo ‘yung ganon? Mamahalin mo siya, rerespetuhin mo siya at kahit na anong mangyari siya pa rin ang pipiliin mo. Kahit minsan nabigyan ka na ng ganito, sa kanya ka pa rin babalik.”

For the actress, the biggest difference is that Rhea never makes her ambassadors feel like they are being used for fame or popularity.

“Kasi yung love niya sa ‘yo totoo at hindi ka niya gagamitin dahil sikat ka or aabangan ko ‘to kasi sisikat ‘to. Hindi siya ganun eh. Walang gamitan moment. Hindi kagaya sa iba.”

Sunshine added that the atmosphere within Beautéderm is what keeps its ambassadors connected to the brand, as everyone is treated like family.

“So sa nakita kong mga ganyan, ‘yun yung pinagkaiba niya talaga. Kaya lahat ng nandirito ngayon, lahat ng ambassador niya pamilya niya talaga. Tinuturing niyang anak, tinuturing niyang kaibigan. So literal na pamilya.”
