Dingdong Dantes wishes childhood friend Bam Aquino good health on his birthday

Sen. Bam Aquino received another birthday greeting from one of his longtime friends, Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes.

In a video message, Dantes expressed his hopes for Aquino to remain healthy and strong as he continues serving his family and fellow Filipinos.

“Hi, Sen Bam! Happy, happy birthday to you. Ang wish namin sa iyo siyempre ay good health. Sana mas tumibay pa o manatiling matatag at malusog ang iyong kalusugan,” Dantes shared.

“Dahil siyempre alam namin marami ka pa talagang gusto gawin para sa sarili mo, kundi pati sa iyong pamilya at higit sa lahat sa iyong mga kababayan,” he added.

“Iyan ang wish namin sa iyo. For now, enjoy the special day of yours, bro! Maligayang, maligayang kaarawan sa iyo. Cheers!” the Kapuso Primetime King further said.

Sen. Bam and Dingdong have been friends since their grade school days, when Sen. Bam was still known simply as “Bam-Bam.”

Over the years, the two have worked together on youth-centered advocacies and co-hosted several programs, including their most recent collaboration, the online show “DongBam AsenShow.”

Sen. Bam also appeared in Dingdong’s special birthday episode of “Family Feud,” where he and his teammates — actress Iza Calzado, former National Youth Commission (NYC) chairperson Gio Tingson, and stand-up comedian Alex Calleja — won the P200,000 jackpot prize.

Dingdong has also supported Sen. Bam in his 2013, 2019, and 2025 Senate campaigns.

The two also worked closely during Dingdong’s stint as Commissioner-at-Large of the National Youth Commission (NYC) from 2014 to 2016, when Sen. Bam was serving his first term as senator.
