Aljur Abrenica opens up about going viral as a singer

Actor Aljur Abrenica has recently been making waves online — not just for his acting projects, but for his viral song covers that continue to spark mixed reactions from the public.

During a recent press conference for his newest endorsement, Aljur answered questions about his music and how seriously he plans to pursue it, offering heartfelt answers that revealed his deep connection to his craft.

When asked if music will now become a major focus in his life, Aljur shared how personal and meaningful it has become for him:

“I choose to kasi I really love music. And it’s very personal for me. It gives you that kind of, alam mo yun, singing your heart out ba. Nagiging ano ko siya — yun yung… outlet ko.”

When asked about the public’s mixed reactions to his singing — with his performances often going viral — Aljur took the conversation to a deeper, more spiritual place. He shared that his journey in music, and everything happening in his life right now, stems from his faith.

“Well… lahat ng bagay na ‘to, it started when I had a relationship with God — sa Panginoon natin… Gusto kong sabihin na sa buhay ko, no’ng nagkaroon ako ng relasyon sa Kanya, pananampalataya, at nakikilala natin Siya, nagsunod-sunod po talaga ang biyaya ng Panginoon.”

“So anything that’s happening to me, it’s God’s gift. Also, I would like to mention Ma’am April, Ma’am Pauline, and Luxus Estetica. I think we were brought together para sa bagong venture nitong — whatever it is, kung ano yung pinaplano, bring it on. And I’m grateful for it. So lahat nung blessings, it basically came from Him,” Aljur continued.

Aljur was officially introduced as the first endorser of the luxury furniture brand Luxus Estetica on October 14, where he was warmly welcomed by the brand’s owners and founders, April Martin and Pauline Publico. The partnership marks a new chapter in Aljur Abrenica’s journey, reflecting his creativity, gratitude, and faith.
