From an emerging talent to an award-winning artist, Isha Ponti is steadily building her place in the industry as Asia’s Pop Sweetheart. Beyond singing, she is also a songwriter, dancer, rapper, and producer—an artist who brings her own voice and vision into everything she creates.
At the launch of her new single “You Loved Me First” on August 15, Isha shared that songwriting has always felt natural for her. “I really found it more fulfilling as a singer kasi ako mismo yung nagsulat ng songs e. When it comes to the hard part… mahirap ba siya? Actually hindi… Mas madali po yung ako ang nagsulat kasi sarili ko pong melody, sarili kong lyrics. So, it’s really from the heart. Sobrang smooth,” she said.
She also mentioned her dream of collaborating with two of the country’s biggest names. “Sarah Geronimo talaga… and SB19,” Isha revealed.

Her growing list of achievements reflects her dedication to her craft. She was named Aliw Award’s Best New Female Artist of 2024 and currently serves as Managing Director of Ponti Productions. She has shared the stage with OPM legend Marco Sison in Seasons of OPM at The Theatre at Solaire, and will also perform at Nonoy Zuñiga’s Beyond Gold: Songs of a Lifetime 50th anniversary concert on September 5 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
Isha has written and released songs that show different sides of her artistry, including “Life Isn’t Perfect,” “Babalik Ka”, “TARA,” and “PAKPAK.” She also penned “Dyahe,” arranged and produced by Adonis Tabanda, and the motivational anthem “Invincible.”
Her latest single, “You Loved Me First,” is a heartfelt tribute to her mother and to all moms, released on her mom’s birthday, August 15. Produced with Adonis Tabanda for Ponti Productions, the track marks another milestone in her journey.
Having written her first song at just nine years old, Isha now has 13 tracks to her name and is preparing for her debut album set for release next year—proof that her music continues to grow with her, always written from the heart.
