FFCCCII offers ₱100K prize in TikTok Contest celebrating PH-China diplomatic ties

The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) has officially launched a nationwide “1-2 Minutes TikTok Video Competition” to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China.

During a press conference held at the Pandesal Forum, Kamuning Bakery Café, newly-elected FFCCCII President Victor Lim emphasized the value of the longstanding friendship between the two countries. “This is your chance to celebrate our shared history through creativity,” Lim said. “Let your TikTok videos inspire unity and showcase the vibrant future of Philippines-China relations.”

The competition encourages Filipino youth to create short-form videos that tell stories about the connections between the Philippines and China—whether through personal experiences, cultural traditions, community ties, or hopes for stronger bilateral cooperation.

Competition Details

Theme:
Philippines-China relations — including personal or community stories, cultural connections, or future aspirations.

Eligibility:
Open to Filipino citizens aged 18-35, whether as individuals or teams.

Format:

• 1 to 2-minute TikTok video
• Portrait orientation, MP4 format
• Any Filipino dialect is allowed but must include English subtitles

How to Join:

1. Upload your video to TikTok using the hashtag #PHChina50Years and tag @ffcccII.official
2. Complete the registration form by scanning the QR code found on official FFCCCII posters

Deadline for Submission: May 27, 2025
Announcement of Winners: June 8, 2025, ahead of the diplomatic anniversary on June 9
