Rabin Angeles: From ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E’ fame to skin care endorsements

Rabin Angeles, known for his standout performance in the hit Viva One series ‘Mutya Ng Section E‘, is steadily capturing the hearts of viewers with his authenticity, charm, and deeply personal story. After years of playing background roles, Rabin is finally stepping into the spotlight—and he’s beyond grateful.

“Unang-una po sa lahat, nagpapasalamat din po ako sa lahat ng mga sumusuporta sa akin. And hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin po ako na niniwala na ang dami na,” he shared during the launch of a skincare brand he’s endorsing on April 10. “Parang kailan lang po, dumadaan-daan lang ako sa likod. Ganoon lang po lagi yung role ko dati na parang talent na laging nasa likid lang. Tapos ngayon nabigyan po ako ng break ng ‘Mutya ng Section E’. Kaya super thankful lang po ako doon. Nagpapasalamat lang po ako sa Diyos palagi,” he continued.

Despite his rising fame, the young actor remains grounded, choosing not to focus on negativity or online bashing.

“Hindi ko pa talaga sila [bashers] iniisip masiyado. Kasi as long as wala po akong natatapakan na ibang tao, ipagpapatuloy ko po yung ginagawa ko. Kasi masaya po ako sa ginagawa ko sa totoo lang. At ito po yung meron ako, ito po yung binigay ng Diyos para sa akin ito para magpasaya po ng ibang tao. Yung mga may ayaw po sa akin, hindi ko na lang sila iisipin. Madami naman pong may gusto na makita ako… Iniisip ko po kung paano ko po mapapasaya yung mga tao na gustong sumuporta sa akin.”

Beyond his dreams in showbiz, Rabin’s biggest motivation lies at home—with his mother, who raised him and his siblings single-handedly.

“Tyaka iniisip ko, paano ko matutulungan yung mommy ko. Gusto ko din po kasi siyang mag-stop na sa work. Kasi buong buhay ko po parang siya lang po yung nagtataguyod sa amin. Mag-isa lang po kasi siya tapos ang dami naming magkakapatid.”
