Famous Korean fried chicken chain ‘BB.Q Chicken’ opens 15th branch in Antipolo

Famous Korean fried chicken chain BB.Q Chicken marked a new milestone in its Philippine expansion with the grand opening of its 15th branch on April 7, now serving customers at Robinsons Place Antipolo.

The celebration was led by former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson, Ako Ilocano Ako Party-list Representative Richelle Singson, KAS Restaurant Group Inc. CEO Ms. Kim Singson, and Genesis BBQ Asia Vice President Ms. Tanya Llana.

In her opening remarks, Representative Richelle Singson shared the journey of bringing the beloved Korean brand to the country. She highlighted both the challenges and the joy of introducing something new to Filipino taste buds.

“We’re very proud of this brand. We’re very proud that we’ve brought to the Philippines BB.Q Chicken. I always say this when we open a new store but when we first thought about bringing BB.Q Chicken in, we we’re hesitant because the chicken competition in the Philippines is so intense. But when we brought it in, we saw how much Filipinos love chicken. And with the unique flavors that BB.Q Chicken brought in, every one enjoys it. So, we want to thank everyone and we are now here to offer BB.Q Chicken, Best of the Best Quality Chicken, here in Antipolo,” she said.

Known for its crispy texture, juicy meat, and variety of bold flavors, BB.Q Chicken—short for “Best of the Best Quality Chicken”—originated in South Korea and has since grown into a global franchise with hundreds of locations worldwide. The Antipolo branch marks another milestone in its growing popularity among Filipino diners.

With its successful launch in Antipolo, BB.Q Chicken continues its mission to bring Korean-style fried chicken to more locations across the Philippines, promising the same quality and taste that has won over fans around the globe.
