Blvck Music’s CEO Grace Cristobal reminds new rapper, bands to trust the process

In the competitive world of the music industry, Blvck Music and Bvck Entertainment continue to carve a name for themselves by supporting budding artists with immense potential. Their commitment to fostering talent has led to the recent launch of two bands—Sentidrama and Padayon—along with the addition of Yhanzy, a rapper, singer, and songwriter, to their growing roster.

This strategic expansion demonstrates Blvck’s unwavering dedication to nurturing young talents and contributing to the evolution of the music scene.

The launch of these new artists took place on November 30 at Boss Bar in Quezon City, where Blvck Entertainment CEO Grace Cristobal shared her thoughts and insights on their mission, as well as reminding them on trusting the process.

In her answer at the media conference, she emphasized the importance of hard work, and a structured process in achieving success in the entertainment industry.

Engr. Grace Cristobal on Supporting New Talents

Grace revealed. “Kasi that time, ang pausbong talaga is yung P-Pop groups… Nung time na yon is more on P-pop group and at the same time mga rapper.

She also explained how their decision to take on bands evolved over time, driven by a desire to provide opportunities to a wider range of talent.

“Pero eto lang talaga ang masasabi ko… Para sa inyo itong lahat [new talents], hindi porket pumasok tayo sa isang production company or talent management company or music lable – pagpasok natin ayan na kaagad. ‘Kapagka gumawa tayo ng kanta, release kaagad.’ Hindi gano’n. Lahat may proseso.

For her, producing talents goes beyond mere management—it involves introducing them to audiences and helping them build credibility.

“So nandoon lumalabas ang aming production company…

She urged the new talents to take charge of their own careers and collaborate with the management to achieve their shared goals.

Blvck Entertainment as a “Parent” in the Industry

The Blvck Entertainment owner also drew a meaningful analogy, likening the management to a parental figure in the lives of their talents.

“Bakit ba kayo nasa amin? Dahil ano? So dapat lang… makinig at sumunod.”

By fostering a relationship based on trust and respect, Cristobal envisions Blvck as a guiding force for its artists.

Trusting the Process

She concluded her message by encouraging the new talents to remain patient and committed to the process.

“Trust the process. Yung process natin, process ng Blvck, pagkatiwalaan n’yo,” she reiterated. So, we’re building our credibility in this kind of industry like yung entertainment.

With this inspiring launch and words of wisdom from their CEO, Blvck Music and Bvck Entertainment are poised to lead their new talents to greater heights.
