Kapuso actresses Rhian Ramos and Glaiza De Castro, fondly called as RaStro love team — made popular by the 2015 GMA TV series ‘The Rich Man’s Daughter’, reunite for the upcoming girls’ love (GL) film ‘I Fell, It’s Fine,’ from writer-director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo (‘Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita’, ‘Kita Kita’, ‘Lulu’).
The project was officially announced during its story conference for the film on November 16, at Deer Claus in Quezon City.
During the event, Rhian Ramos shared her thoughts on the timing and readiness of their reunion for the upcoming film. She also expressed confidence that they would deliver a fresh and more fulfilling experience, especially for the fans who have eagerly followed their love team for years.
“I think things happen at the right time …even if it was a long wait I’m sure there was a reason for it. I think the restrictions that we had back then will be less now. Also because when you’re working for free TV iba din yung restrictions no’n based on cinema.
“So, I think we will be able to give the fans or even if they’re not fans, just the audience, something new pa rin. And something more satisfying since they’ve been waiting for years also,” she shared.
Rhian also expressed her personal readiness for the project, she said, “And am I ready for it? Yeah, because I think also we’re in different stages of our lives and we’re much more mature. We’re different people now, actually. We’ve also been waiting for this for a long time. We’ve just been getting ready.”
Glaiza De Castro, in turn, praised her strong working relationship with Rhian Ramos, highlighting their natural chemistry and mutual respect. She related confidence in their partnership for the upcoming movie.
She said, “Yung chemistry or yung meron kami ni Rhian, hindi rin namin pinipilit. Siguro dahil we respect each other. Nakikita ko yun sa kanya. And ako, I respect her as an actress, as a person. And katulad ng sinabi niya kanina, we’re ready for it. Fearless din siyang babae e. So parang ang sarap sa pakiramdam na may kaeksena kang fearless at walang inhibition, walang takot, walang walls. Ikaw rin, masasabay ka din do’n e.
“So kung ano man yung gagawin namin dito, I am confident at masaya ako na si Rhian yung kasama ko kasi alam ko na magagawa ko kung ano yung kailangan kong gawin dahil siya yung kaeksena ko,” she added.

Meanwhile, Glaiza De Castro also reacted to the syndicated estafa case involving her friend and business partner, Ken Chan. She said, “Naniniwala ako sa mental capacity din ni Ken [Chan]. At saka yung spiritual capacity niya rin. Dahil lahat naman ‘to nangyayari dahil may purpose. Hindi ‘to accident e. Kumbaga parang may, even may tinuturo sa kanya, or may kailangan siyang matutunan, at dahil maganda yung sinimulan niya sa business world at sa pagpu-produce, ma-i-impart niya yung learnings na yun sa amin.
“And he will become stronger and better. And I think kung ano man yung challenges na darating at kakaharapin niya in the future, malalampasan niya dahil again kinailangan mangyari ng kung ano mang nangyayari ngayon.
“And kahit sino makausap ko, I always say na kakayanin ni Ken dahil may mga tao rin na sumusuporta, nagdadasal [para] sa kanya. Ako, happy ako na finally naglabas siya ng statement. Kasi I feel na may laban talaga siya. And pure yung heart ni Ken, e. So, goodness will always win and it will prevail. So antayin na lang natin.”
‘I Fell, It’s Fine’ is written and will be directed by Sigrid Bernardo, known for her work in acclaimed films such as Kita Kita (2017) and Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita (2013).
