Sam “SV” Verzosa’s deep care for the elderly is clear in how dedicated he is to their well-being. During a charity event for the senior citizens of Manila City held at Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) in Quiapo, Manila, he expressed his thoughts clearly when asked about the issue of the delay in the allowance for senior citizens during the incumbent administration.
He believes that the delay in the ₱500 allowance is minor compared to the real problem—the amount itself is insufficient.
Yan dapat ang binibigyan natin ng pansin, hindi yung delay,” he added, referring to the provision of real assistance to seniors and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
At the event, he showcased his dedication to serving the elderly with his mobile clinics and volunteers working hand in hand to provide free quality service to the public.

His commitment to providing essential medical services and free medications to seniors is clear as he highlights the importance of his personal initiative.
He noted that he has already implemented the ₱2,000 monthly allowance in his barangay, saying, “Actually, yung P2,000 na allowance, ginawa na rin naming yan monthly sa barangay namin sa Sampaloc.
With this belief, SV remains firm that real change is possible with genuine effort.

A total of 6 MILLION pesos were distributed during the event (P2000 allowance for a total of 3,000 senior citizens) in Sampaloc, Manila by Sam “SV” Verzosa.

He emphasized that what he offers is the result of his hard work: “Sarili kong pinaghirapan ang binibigay ko sa mga tao.
Reflecting his commitment to serving the community with honesty and openness, he recently filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) to run for Mayor of Manila.
With such determination to advocate for the elderly and improve their lives on a larger scale, Sam’s love for the Manilenyos is evident in both his words and actions.
