Pinky Amador, who plays the formidable Moira Tanyag (now known as Morgana in the series), shared her heartfelt reflections on the relationships formed throughout the production of GMA Network’s ”Abot-Kamay na Pangarap’ as it approaches its finale on October 19.
During a press conference on October 2, Pinky spoke emotionally about the long-lasting bonds and the success of one of the network’s top afternoon dramas.
The afternoon medical drama, featuring Ms. Carmina Villarroel, Mr. Richard Yap, and Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward, is known for its compelling characters and storylines. Among them is Pinky Amador’s Moira Tanyag, a kontrabida who brought depth and complexity to the show.
When asked about her takeaway from the show, Pinky answered: “yung nabuong pagsasamahan naming lahat.”
She expressed awe at the series’ success, especially considering today’s era of streaming and online platforms.
“I think what’s different from this show is how long it lasted. Alalahanin natin, every day ito, Monday to Saturday… longest running afternoon series.
“In modern times ngayon na… may streaming na rin tayong katapat, may mga online, hindi mo talaga mababaliwala ang success. And I think the ingredient of the success was the believability of the characters.”

Throughout its run, ‘Abot-Kamay na Pangarap’ followed the journey of Analyn, the country’s youngest doctor, and her quest for family, identity, and professional success. The show’s popularity soared as audiences connected with the deeply emotional and relatable storylines.
As the show draws to a close, Pinky emotionally expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to work on the project.
“I’m very very thankful to GMA and all the creatives… naiiyak na ako… na binigyan nila ako ng ganitong pagkakataon.”
The cast, which also includes Dina Bonnevie, Allen Dizon, and Kazel Kinouchi, has been celebrated for bringing their characters to life in this heartwarming drama. Under the helm of director L.A. Madridejos, ‘Abot-Kamay na Pangarap’ has solidified its place as one of the most successful afternoon shows on the Kapuso Network.
