Sam ‘SV’ Verzosa auctions P200-M worth of luxury supercars

TV host and Tutok to Win partylist Representative Sam ‘SV’ Verzosa remains dedicated to fulfilling his promise to the people of Manila.

On September 29, at the Frontrow International headquarters during the ‘SV Driven to Heal Charity Event,’ he unveiled his collection of luxury cars set to be auctioned, with all proceeds going toward charitable causes aimed at improving healthcare services in the city.

His collection of luxury and supercars is valued at an average of 200 million pesos. It includes Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, McLaren, Maserati, Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, and Bentley.

During his opening speech at the event, SV reflected on his past philanthropic efforts, emphasizing that this was not the first time he had auctioned luxury vehicles for a charitable cause.

“This is not the first time that we auction a luxury vehicle. Nag-auction na tayo ng Ferrari before, to help people during pandemic. Recently, we auctioned a Maserati SUV to help build a bone marrow transplant facility sa (Philippine General Hospital) PGH for cancer patients. And now, with your help, with the help of our friends, itong lahat ng proceeds na ‘to ay makakatulong para makapagtayo ng mga dialysis and diagnostics centers sa Maynila.”

His close connection with those in need has been a major inspiration for his efforts to provide better healthcare services to Filipinos.

Sobrang hirap. Sobrang naaawa talaga ako.

Laging bulong nila sa akin, ‘Sam, pengeng pampagamot,’ ‘Pwedeng humingi ng pang-hospital,’ ‘Pwedeng humingi ng pang-libreng maintenance, X-ray, diagnostics, laboratory, ultrasound, ECG, pampa-dialysis.’ Doon nanggaling lahat ‘to.

In response to these calls for help, he also launched SV mobile clinics equipped with crucial medical tools.

Kaya… in our own way magtatayo tayo ng mga dialysis centers ‘pag mabibigyan tayo ng tiyansa.”

He also proudly shared the latest development in his ongoing projects: “Noong isang araw lang, nag-groundbreaking na yung Sampaloc Dialysis and Diagnostics Center.

He further noted that the completion of the structure was all that remained: “Meron na tayong mga suppliers, meron na tayong ibang equipment. Itatayo na lang yung magandang structure.

“Matagal na tayong tumutulong. Hindi ito yung una. Marami na pong ganitong pangyayari. [Yung pagkakaroon ng] charity event, more than 10 years na. Meron tayong Frontrow Cares.

He also highlighted his other charitable ventures, such as the ‘Batang Sampaloc Scholarship Foundation’, which provides educational support to students from Sampaloc and Manila.

As the Director for Charity of ‘Miss Universe Philippines’, Verzosa has expanded his outreach across the country, including Tondo and other areas outside Manila.

Looking back on his journey, Verzosa emphasized: “Ito ay para lang maituloy yung mga pagtulong natin kasi kailangan nating masipag, magtrabaho.

Finally, he shared his thoughts on true wealth and success.

And as I always say, the true purpose of wealth is to help others. And that’s what real success looks like.”

Sam SV Verzosa’s unwavering commitment to hardwork and community service continues to make him an inspiring figure, especially since he uses his success to uplift communities. With growing support from the people for him to run for Manila mayor in the upcoming midterm elections, only time will reveal what the future holds.
