Frontrow co-founder Sam ‘SV’ Verzosa to run for mayor in Manila

SamSVVerzosa, a philanthropist, businessman, TV host, and current representative of Tutok to Win party-list, has announced his candidacy for mayor of Manila in the 2025 elections. The co-founder of the multi-level marketing company Frontrow confirmed his intention to run during his visit on September 20 to Barangay 127, Zone 10, Paradise Heights in Tondo, Manila, where he was distributing assistance as part of the “Ayuda Hindi Tinipid” initiative.

SV addressed the quality of aid he provides to the people, particularly in the context of food assistance. He declares that there will no longer be just sardinas at noodles provided in aid packages, confirming that the new standard for assistance will be different and better than before.

Nag-umpisa yan tuwing tumutulong tayo.

So puro Spam, Delimondo, chocolates, [at] masarap na bigas, siyempre. Kasi minsan nakakatanggap daw sila [ng] may bukbok.”

During his visit, SV expressed his strong dedication to public service and a readiness to embrace whatever challenges come his way for the benefit of the people he aims to serve.

He said, “Kung ano man ang ibigay sa atin ng Diyos, tatangapin natin.

When asked if he will run for mayor, he strongly replied, “Sure tayong lalaban tayo para sa mga [Manilenyo].

He said that if given the chance, he will work to put an end to traditional politics in the city. He stressed the need for change.

Having a strong wish to turn Manila into a model city that could inspire others, he highlighted Manila’s importance as the capital of the Philippines and suggested its progress should set an example for the whole country.

SV expressed a commitment to using his position and resources to help others, especially those in need, and to improve the quality of life for the people of Manila.

Additionally, SV addressed the topic of marriage with his girlfriend, Rhian Ramos, in the context of his run for mayor. He underscored that he does not want to use the issue of marriage to gain public attention or favor during this period.

With the support of the community, Sam ‘SV’ Verzosa seeks to inspire hope and resilience. Let’s see what the future holds for him and the City of Manila.
