Fresh faces on Vivamax’s June releases ‘Cita’, ‘Nurse Abi’

Two new Vivamax movies are coming this week: ‘Cita‘, starring Erika Balagtas, Zia Zamora, Arjay Bautista, Enzo Ruiz, Francis Mata, and directed by MJ Balagtas, premieres on June 18; and ‘Nurse Abi‘, starring Alessandra Cruz, Vince Rillon, and directed by Dustin Celestino, premieres on June 21.

Vivamax actress Erika Balagtas shared how her role as Cita challenged her. She said, “Sobrang challenging sa akin nitong role na ‘to kasi sobrang kabaliktaran ko si Cita. Kasi si Cita sobrang tapang niya na babae tapos ako in real life medyo malumanay lang.”

The first movie offering is about a woman who dares to do it all for her comfort and happiness. It follows the story of Cita, a beautiful young woman and devoted wife to wealthy farm-owner Turo (Francis Mata). Unaware that Turo is having an affair with Vanessa (Zia Zamora), Cita is drawn to Turo’s stepson, Aldoy (Enzo Ruiz), who resents Turo and seeks revenge. Aldoy seduces Cita and convinces her to betray Turo and help him take over the farm. Will Cita go through with Aldoy’s plan after discovering Turo’s affair?

Another story is about a woman one will do anything and everything for.  ‘Nurse Abi’ follows the story of Roy (Vince Rillon), who becomes infatuated with Nurse Abi (Alessandra Cruz) after collapsing from overwork. To see her, he fakes illnesses and injuries. However, Nurse Abi is about to leave for a job abroad. Roy must confess his feelings quickly before she departs. Will Roy be able to declare his feelings or will he be too late? Join Roy in his quest to win his nurse’s heart.

New sexy actress and ‘Nurse Abi’ star Alessandra Cruz shared her expectations regarding doing sexy films. She said, “Hindi ako kinabahan or natakot sa mga gagawin kasi alam ko naman na …ganun yung gagawin.”

She also expressed her confidence in doing sexy scenes, stating, “101% [confident]. Pag gusto mo naman yung ginagawa mo ‘di ba? Bale talagang matutuwa ka. Talagang gagawin mo talaga,” Alessandra said.
