Ara Mina shows full support for husband Dave Almarinez’s new ride-hailing app

According to PeekUp CEO Dave Almarinez, his wife and actress-entrepreneur Ara Mina is in “full support” to his newest venture. PeekUp is a 100% Filipino-designed platform poised to revolutionize commuting in the Philippines that offers safe, convenient rides, and competitive pricing.

During the launch of PeekUp on April 30 at SM Megamall, Almarinez highlights the unwavering support of his wife, Ara Mina.

“Full support po ang aking maybahay… I think, no doubt, lahat ng pwedeng niyang ibigay na support sa PeekUp at sa akin, wala na akong masasabi pa kay Ara. Yes, isa siya sa face ng PeekUp besides our celebrity guest na si Paulo [Avelino].”

Almarinez also shared the benefits highlighting how PeekUp is all about convenience. Safety and comfort are essential with PeekUp. Their driver-partners undergo rigorous training and are not only experienced but also highly professional, guaranteeing users a safe and convenient journey to their destination. Additionally, PeekUp ensures transparency with pricing and offers flexible payment options, eliminating any surprises when it comes to fares. In fact, they even pledge to provide rates lower than their competitors.

When talking about the benefits of the driver-partners, he said, “From the Day 1 na mag-onboard sila, and mag-activate sila… we get zero commission out of that. And inasmuch as we give as many incentives as they can. Because ang success nila is our success. Gusto namin, sila muna yung maging successful at kumita. If that happens, eventually we becomes successful, because we have to take care of our drivers so they can take care of our passengers.

“The condition is simple: we will take care of them because they are the face of our company but they have to also take care of our passengers.” Ako, pasahero ako e! User ako ng app. So therefore gusto ko magandang experience. Magsisimula yan from us, internally.”

As for the user-passengers, more rewards and discounts will be provided now that they are introducing themselves to the market.

“We will run many, many rewards, discounts, vouchers, including referral program in the next succeeding days, weeks para dumami pa ang ating user-passengers.Our goal is to have 1 million users in the next 10-20 months. Achievable siya in 20 months. Our target for our driver-partners would be at least 27,000 within 20 months, and then double that after. Para may sustainability tayo doon sa target nating numbers. Nationwide ito.”
