As the most streamed OPM female artist, singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre recently embarked on a transformative journey, highlighting the profound changes in her life. What makes it remarkable is that it transcends mere physical transformations.
On March 19, amidst the elegant ambiance of Plaza Ibarra on Timog Ave. in Quezon City, she opened up about her journey of personal growth and self-discovery.
This pivotal moment marked her unveiling as the newest advocate for a wellness brand. The occasion, marked by a formal contract signing, saw the convergence of key figures, including BonaVita CEO Jethro Cerezo and Cornerstone Entertainment President Erickson Raymundo.

Reflecting on her journey, Moira shared moving insights into the profound shifts she experienced. “My life definitely changed a lot,” she recounted. “But I think bago pa yung weight loss it was more internal first. And then it just manifested eventually physically with the help of Bona Slim and I’m really thankful because the vision of Bona Slim really is in line with what really happened in my life personally. We celebrate all bodies, and all shapes and sizes.”
“…I think the change really started internally first before it manifested externally,” she added. “My life changed so much after the last 2 and a half years. I’ve become happier, but not because what happened physically but because of the healing that I experienced inside.”

Moira’s journey was not without its challenges. Recounting her struggles, she bravely confronted issues of body image and self-esteem. “Don’t be too hard on yourself,” she advised. “…How I started losing weight it was when I stopped trying.”
Yet, amidst the turmoil, Moira discovered a profound truth – self-acceptance. “To the people who are trying to lose weight, to the people who are trying to not care about the bullying. I want you to care more about what you think about yourself because that matter. Don’t be too hard on yourself and be unapologetic when it comes to choosing yourself. It’s not a bad thing.”
