Converge elevates internet speeds nationwide as it calls to ‘Paint the Nation Purple’

Following its recent *Ookla® **Speedtest AwardsTM clean sweep in February, Converge is enhancing its FiberX plans by providing a complimentary speed boost of up to 600 Mbps for existing customers.

To celebrate its consecutive victories, Converge illuminated its Manila headquarters and key locations nationwide in vibrant purple during a lighting ceremony. Notable landmarks such as Plaza Anghel in Angeles City, Fort San Pedro in Cebu City, and Damosa IT Park in Davao City were also bathed in purple light. This spectacular display, streamed online and witnessed by media guests, brand ambassadors, and subscribers, symbolizes Converge’s dedication to connecting and brightening the lives of Filipinos across the country.

Recently crowned as the ***fastest and most awarded internet service provider in the Philippines, Converge is expressing gratitude to its over 2 million customers by enabling this speed boost. Aligned with its vision to empower Filipinos and businesses, the free upgrade of its affordable and unlimited bandwidth FiberX plans introduces enhanced packages for a faster and superior digital experience. For instance, the flagship FiberX 1500 plan now offers 300 Mbps, up from the previous 200 Mbps. Notably, this plan has seen successive upgrades, first from 50 Mbps to 100 Mbps in June 2022, and then from 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps in November 2022.

Additionally, subscribers on work-from-home or learn-from-home arrangements using Converge Time of Day plans receive a speed boost of up to 1 Gbps during specific hours.

GameChanger subscribers focused on gaming also benefit from a substantial speed boost, ranging from at least 500 Mbps up to 1 Gbps. This enhancement facilitates an ultra-high-speed, high prioritization, low latency, and low jitter gaming experience.
