Cheers to a successful debut of PH’s youngest CEO, Iya Galo of Beauty Wise Philippines! 
Abdania Galo, fondly called Iya by her closest friends and relatives, recently marked her 18th birthday with an extravagantly Bridgerton-themed celebration at the luxurious Hilton Manila in Pasay City.
During a quick interview with the invited press behind the busy scenes of her debut, Iya shared, “I have a lot of plans in mind—’pasabog’! I aim for international success. Right now, it’s a really tight schedule. In addition to being a CEO, I’m also an ‘ate’—a sister—and a student. My schedule is super challenging, but I believe I can pursue the plans I have for next year.
Now that she’s 18, she mentioned that she looks forward to fulfilling more of her parents’ wishes for herself. “My life goal is to make them proud and to make them feel that every ounce of hard work they put into me is worth it, every drop of sweat they poured into me is all worth it.” She aspires to be a good CEO, a good sister, and to maintain good grades, among other things.
“When it comes to challenges, I don’t perceive [them] as pressure. I see [them] as opportunities. When faced with problems, I never think, ‘Oh my god, I’m under pressure!’… I feel even more motivated.”
Teary-eyed but full of joy and hope for a brighter future in her nth gown for the night, Iya related on this significant occasion: “This day has become one of my special days. And this day will never be forgotten by my heart, by my mind, and every feeling I felt will stay forever.”
The celebration was a joyous gathering attended by her family, friends, and notable celebrities such as Derrick Monasterio, Kelvin Miranda, and Dustin Yu, among other performers who shared their talents to the lovely debutante and her beloved guests.
