There’s a new Viva artist in town and her name is Atasha Muhlach!
Coming from a showbiz royalty family, Atasha is not new in show business. Growing up at the sight of her father Aga Muhlach and her mother Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach, she has tasted the limelight as a celebrity kid. Now, the inevitable arrived, as luck would have it, with Viva Artists Agency signing her up.
According to Boss Vincent Del Rosario, getting Atasha for their stable of stars was not a hard-sell. “Nag-one-on-one sila ni Dad — ni boss Vic… nag-audition, pinakinggan ni Boss si Atasha. Nung lumabas, biglang in a way d-in-eclare ni Boss Vic na we have our next big star… It was worth the wait!”
Atasha is so grateful for the opportunity given to her. When asked how she likes to be remembered not just from a showbiz clan but as herself, she said that she want to be known as “someone who is very hardworking and is willing to try new things and explore different opportunities.”
Aside from pursuing a singing career, she also dreams of becoming an actress. When asked what role of any of her parents she would love to remake, she excitedly remarked Dyesebel, the 1996 fantasy film based on Mars Ravelo’s popular mermaid character from the comics.
“I would really love to be a Dyesebel if I have the chance, because that is something I saw growing up,” she said.
” I used to think that my mom is a mermaid. As a kid, I thought eventually I’d turn into one. To be able to experience a role like that would be truly an honor.”
Excited days are ahead for the 22-year-old beauty queen material (who wouldn’t close her doors for the chance if it were to knock). Watch out for her upcoming projects under Viva as her star is bound to shine bright with VAA.
