The author of the hit Wattpad novel ‘The Rain in España’ is not just a pretty face but an influence to reckon with as she has behind her a legion of followers and readers.
With those in mind, Gwy Saludes is more than grateful for old and new fans of The Rain In España thanks to VIVA’s acquisition of its TV adaptation rights.
During an intimate presscon with Gwy held by O/C Records which handles her career, she shared that she’s a fan of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and that if she would want to dream big, she would dream to work with the said Kapamilya love team.

“Sila po talaga yung dream ko na maka-work. If mangangarap po talaga ako, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla po talaga.”
She also shared how KathNiel inspired all her stories before The University Series like her Twitter ‘serye’ Along España.
“Before po kasi yung mga sinusulat ko, puro KathNiel fan [fiction] po lahat yo’n. Before University Series, KathNiel po lahat ng stories ko.”
“Binasa po ni Kath yung Along España. Kasi sila po yung portrayer no’n, and nakarating sa kanya, so nagbigay po siya ng video greet sa akin,” she continued.
When asked about #TRIE stars, Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo, she mentioned how the Viva Artist met her expectations for their well-loved characters.
“Marco and Heaven, magaling po talaga sila and talagang nakita ko po sa kanila yung character[s].”
She added, “For Marco, auditions pa lang po, si Marco na yung pinakamagaling sa lahat. Si Heaven, nakita ko po si Luna sa kanya during screen test. No’ng nilabas na po niya yung character and naka-dress na po siya as Luna.”
Gwy was happy to say that her readers keep her motivated to write.
“Yung readers po talaga yung motivation ko. Sa Wattpad po, I always read comments… Since nakikita ko po na may nagbabasa and naghihintay, parang namo-motivate po ako na magsulat nang magsulat.”
