This May 3, a new South Korean sports drama film is dribbling its way not just to Philippine cinemas nationwide but also to the hearts of the Filipino audiences.
Based on an incredible true story, ‘Rebound’ starts on how basketball coach Kang Yang-Hyun (Ahn Jae-Hong) won the most valuable player (MVP) award as a high school basketball player. With much gusto and passion for the ball sports, he started coaching the basketball team in high school.
With just six players active in the team, how could they do the impossible and win the game with the aid of their coach? That’s the dilemma of the story made interesting by the engaging chemistry of Cheon Ki-Beom (Lee Sin-Young), Bae Kyu-Hyeok (Jinwoon), Hong Soon-Kyu (Kim Taek), Jung Gang-Ho ( Jung Gun-Joo), Heo Jae-Yoon (Kim Min) and Jung Jin-Wook (Ahn Ji-Ho).

It’s funny, it’s inspiration, it’s well acted. Undeniably irresistible all throughout, ‘Rebound’ is a must-watch movie this May for its message in lifting one’s spirit and pushing the boundaries to make miracles happen — all with the help of teamwork.
‘Rebound’ is released in the Philippines by 888 Films International. It is directed by Chang Hang-jun and written by Kwon Sung-hui and Kim Eun-hee.

The advance screening was attended by basketball enthusiasts, members of the media, and special guests that include award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez, who was all-out in supporting her friends who made it all possible to bring such marvelous movie to the local scene.
Don’t miss the excitement and the thrill of winning in ‘Rebound,’ which premieres this Wednesday, May 3, in cinemas nationwide.
