‘Another five years’: Xian Lim signs three new contracts with VIVA

Xian Lim faced the media this March 28 at the office of VIVA for his contract renewal with the company. After being with them since 2017, he was more than happy to renew for another five years. In fact, he signed a total of three different contracts for being an artist under the wings of Viva Artists Agency, for motion pictures under Viva Films, and for his upcoming directing stints for Viva.

“I am very grateful to be part of this wonderful company. The relationship with Viva has been really healthy,” Xian exclaimed. “Five (5) years went by really fast, and I guess that’s because I’m having fun and at the same time madaming challenging roles na nabibigay so …it feels really nice learning process para sa isang artist because you get to do new things.”

“Paulit-ulit ko sinasabi na I take so much pride in being part of [the] Viva family because I learned so much.”

The excitement in Xian’s face was noticeable during the signing.

“We’re signing 3 contracts. I’m very happy to announce na I’m signing my Viva Artist Management contract. I’m also signing my [Viva] Films contract, and I’m also signing my directing contract with Viva. I take so much pride in that,” he excitedly shared.

Another good thing about Xian was his humility throughout the process. “And thank you, boss. To the bosses, dahil it’s the trust they gave me and they continue to give me.”

Vincent del Rosario described Xian as a cornerstone leading man for Viva. He shared that there are ‘obviously more projects’ for the latter. “Si Xian is a cornerstone leading man for us. Never mababakante sa amin.”

During the 5-year contract, Xian will do at least 5 movies he will star in and 5 directing projects he will helm.

“It’s under the span of 5 years. Katulad lang din ng artist contract ko here and Films contract. And for directing, it’s 5 films within 5 years. And boss did say na there can be more,” he explained.
