Viva welcomes Akihiro Blanco to their family of stars

In a virtual press conference, Akihiro Blanco signed the contract with Viva Artist Agency making him the latest addition to the VAA family. He is also co-managed by Tyronne Escalante Artist Management.

We first met the Filipino-Japanese #AkihiroBlanco when he joined TV5’s star search reality show Artista Academy back in 2012 where he placed as a runner-up. 

At his virtual press conference, Tatak Pelikula asked Aki what his present self would say to his 2012 version when he was just starting in show business. “Hello, ang cute mo. God bless,” he quipped. 

We also asked him what his profession would be if he were not in showbiz. He said he would be focused on being a filmmaker.

We witnessed his acting skill in several roles he starred in.  One of the roles that truly showed his versatility as an actor is when he portrayed the role of a transwoman’s ex-lover in Born Beautiful in 2019.
