Fresh from her bagging of Outstanding Lead Actress in Movie award at the recently concluded World Class Excellence Japan Awards 2022, Jhassy Busran has once again stepped up as a rising artist to watch out for.
The 15-year-old teen actress is one of the cast members of the newest superhero film Genius Teens, which is set to be released only starting July 15, 2022 on www.ktx.ph.
This new film produced by Utmost Creatives held is theatrical premiere night last Saturday, June 25, at SM Megamall Cinema 10. It was well-attended by different performers, including soloists and dancers.
We were so excited to meet Jhassy so we asked her these questions:
Ano ang feeling na may ganitong event na ulit na maraming audience sa paligid mo?
Jhassy: “Sobrang overwhelming po. Hearing their cheers, their support was everything. Sobrang mixed emotions knowing that there’s a lot of people supporting us. “
Ano rin ang feeling na nakita mo na sa big screen ang pinaghirapan niyo sa Genius Teens?
Jhassy: “Parang gusto ko po na sumigaw ng ‘Finally!’ ganun po kasi finally after 2 yrs of hardwork naipalabas na siya and sa big screen pa. Sobrang saya lang po sa feeling na napanood ko na siya with my co-actors.”
In Genius Teens, Jhassy plays the role of Xerox, a teenager who can control others’ minds. Genius Teens is about a group of teenagers from different parts of the world who discovers a great mind power that will save the Earth from the hands of the destroyer.
Paano mo pinaghandaan ang iyong most memorable role yet sa Genius Teens?
Jhassy: “Yung Genius Teens po kasi first camera appearance ko po siya, kumbaga first time ko po naexperience yung mga shooting ganon. Kaya po binasa ko ng binasa yung script and inanalyze ko po talaga siya.”
At ano ang natutunan mo sa experience sa paggawa ng ganito kalaking movie?
Jhassy: “Natutunan ko po na di ka dapat nagpapadala sa kaba. Kasi gaya nga po ng sabi ko e first shooting experience ko po siya so sobra po akong kinabahan and I think naka apekto po talaga siya sa acting ko dun.”
Genius Teens is written by Mario Alaman and directed by Paolo Bertola. The characters and origins on the story is not based to any living person or any fictional characters– any similarities are totally coincidence.
